Music commands

  • 24/7: Force Chip to stay in the voice channel forever

    • Usage: ch!24/7- Toggles on or off.

    • Example: ch!24/7

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot

  • Bassboost: Changes the bassboost settings on the player.

    • Usage: ch!bassboost [off, low, medium, high, extreme]

    • Examples:

      • ch!bassboost low - Sets the bassboost settings to low.

      • ch!bassboost off - Turns off the bassboost.

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

    • Aliases: bb

  • Clear: Clear every track from the queue.

    • Usage: ch!clear

    • Example: ch!clear

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Forward: Foward a specific amount of time into the track (Does not work for livestreams!).

    • Usage: ch!foward [Time format]

    • Examples:

      • ch!forward 4000 - Forwards 4000 milliseconds into the track.

      • ch!forward 1m 40s - Forwards 1 minute and 40 seconds into the track.

      • ch!forward 1h 29m 20s - Forwards 1 hours, 29 minutes and 20 seconds into the track.

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

    • Aliases: f

  • Loop: Cycles between loop settings, off (default) -> queue -> track -> off.

    • Usage: ch!loop

    • Example: ch!loop

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Lyrics: Shows the lyrics of a track.

    • Usage: ch!lyrics [Track name]

    • Examples:

      • ch!lyrics - Shows the lyrics for the currently playing track.

      • ch!lyrics what is love - Shows the lyrics for the first found track.

    • Required permissions: None.

    • Aliases: ly

  • Move: Move a track to the first position in queue.

    • Usage: ch!move [Queue number]

    • Example: ch!move 8

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Nowplaying: Displays information about the current playing track.

    • Usage: ch!nowplaying

    • Example: ch!nowplaying

    • Required permissions: None.

    • Aliases: np

  • Pause: Pause the current playing track (Only works if the track isn't paused already!).

    • Usage: ch!pause

    • Example: ch!pause

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Play: Play a track from YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Mixer or bandcamp. Supports YouTube playlists!

    • Usage: ch!play <-sc> [URL or search terms]

    • Examples:

      • ch!play what is love - Searches for "what is love" on YouTube and plays the first found track.

      • ch!play -sc what is love - Searches for "what is love" on SoundCloud and plays the first found track.

      • ch!play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5oD_thIk3c - Plays the song linked to an URL directly. This works for all supported platforms.

    • Required permissions: None.

    • Aliases: p

    • Warning: Chip will skip tracks that are private or not playable in Germany (It will just skip right to the next track!).

  • Queue: Display the current queue

    • Usage: ch!queue <page number>

    • Examples:

      • ch!queue - Shows the first queue page.

      • ch!queue 7 - Shows page seven of the queue.

    • Required permissions: None.

    • Aliases: q

  • Remove: Remove a certain track from the queue.

    • Usage: ch!remove [Queue number]

    • Example: ch!remove 8

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Removedupes: Removes all duplicated tracks from the queue.

    • Usage: ch!removedupes

    • Example: ch!removedupes

  • Replay: Replay the current track (Does not work for livestreams!).

    • Usage: ch!replay

  • Resume: Resume the current track (Only works if the track is paused!).

    • Usage: ch!resume

  • Rewind: Rewind a specific amount of time back into the track (Does not work for livestreams!).

    • Usage: ch!rewind [Time format]

    • Examples:

  • Search: Searches for a track on YouTube and lets you choose which track to queue.

    • Usage: ch!search [Search terms]

    • Example: ch!search what is love - Bot shows results, and type the number of the track you want to queue.

    • Required permissions: None.

  • Seek: Seek to a specific time in the current track (Does not work for livestreams!).

    • Usage: ch!seek [Time format]

    • Examples:

      • ch!seek 9000 - Seeks to 9000 milliseconds in the track.

      • ch!seek 1m 30s - Seeks to 1 minute and 30 seconds in the track.

      • ch!seek 1h 28m 28s - Seeks to 1 hour, 28 minutes and 28 seconds in the track.

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

    • Aliases: se

  • Shuffle: Shuffle the entire queue.

    • Usage: ch!shuffle

    • Example: ch!shuffle

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Skip: Skip to the next track in the queue (Ends the player if there are no more tracks!).

    • Usage: ch!skip <number

    • Examples:

      • ch!skip - skips to the next song in queue.

      • ch!skip 8 - skips 8 songs ahead in queue.

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Stop: Stop the current player (Will make Chip clear the queue and leave the channel!).

    • Usage: ch!stop

    • Example: ch!stop

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

  • Volume: Change the playback volume (Must be between 1 and 200!).

    • Usage: ch!volume [Volume number]

    • Example: ch!volume 80 - Changes the volume to 80%

    • Required permissions: A role named "DJ", MANAGE_MESSAGES permission or being alone with the bot.

    • Aliases: v

    • Warning: Going above 100% is not recommended.

Miscellaneous commands

  • Ping: Displays Chip's response time to Discord.

    • Usage: ch!ping

    • Example: ch!ping

    • Required permissions: None.

    • Warning: If the ping is above 10000ms you should probably report this in the discord server located here.

  • Prefix: Change Chip's prefix in your server!

    • Usage: ch!prefix [New prefix]

    • Example: ch!prefix +

    • Required permissions: MANAGE_SERVER

    • Pro tip: If you no longer know Chip's prefix, simply mention it and it will tell you what it's current prefix is!

  • Help: Chip's build-in help command. Display default information about the bot plus a link to this documentation

    • Usage: ch!help

    • Example: ch!help

    • Required permissions: None.

  • Stats: Displays Chip's statistics.

    • Usage: ch!stats

    • Example: ch!stats

    • Required permissions: None.
